South Africa-based trio Awal Mohammed, Rashid Sumaila and Fatau Dauda will arrive in Accra on Thursday night for Ghana’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia next week.
Centre-backs Mohamed and Sumaila were in action for their clubs respectively on Wednesday.
Mohammed played the entire duration as Maritzburg United suffered a 2-0 defeat at Free State Stars.
Sumaila made his full Premier Soccer League debut in the 1-1 draw with Platinum Stars at home.
Dauda, who is yet to receive his work permit, will come in from Orlando Pirates where he is yet to play his first competitive match.
“Yes we will arrive on Thursday. I have been in touch with them and all that we are waiting for is the day to leave here and come to Ghana,” Mohammed said.
“I have been very active for my club and I know if am called upon I will not disappoint my team, so we are coming and we will see what we can do.”
Ghana’s squad will begin training in Accra on Monday 2 September to face the Chipolopolo on 6 September and against Japan three days ago.
