Ghana’s jerseys for the 2014 World Cup have been leaked with the new Black Stars jerseys not distinctly different from what they have won over the years, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The only noticeable difference is the neck area of the shirt that looks like an African cloth which has also been embossed on the arm with Black Stars written in it.

The Black Stars will be wearing its traditional white color shirt as its home jersey at FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

The jerseys have been leaked five months before they are to be unveiled by German kits manufacturers Puma.

Designed by Puma, the shirt features a white stripe which has been known of the Black Stars in recent time and multi colours with v-neck design.

The shirt design is simple but effective, and it’s very iconic of Ghana.

What’s your opinion about Ghana’s home shirt that they’ll be wearing in Brazil at the 2014 World Cup? Share your critiques in the comments section below.

    Cave painting for cave men

  3. I dont think this is the original colours of the ghana flag. With this colour white we cant win any trophy in africa n abroad.

  4. freeman amoah says:

Are we white? Where is our spritural red goa green that is ghana

  5. TRuMPET says:

Well…i don’t like this jersey not because of the colour but the design. Looks like they used a cloth for the collar. In terms of the colour, white is ok. Germany wears white and currently green and Italy has been wearing blue and all these colours are not part of their national flags and they’ve won trophies. Jersey colour can’t be an excuse.

  6. Kwabena says:

The stuffs at the collar should be changed to kente. It will look much more Ghanaian and make us unique.

  7. Jimmy says:

Original white jersey is better… no fancy make up pls!

  8. fred says:

Aaa this jeysea is not good look at the design.gfa should sign contract with nike and addidas or stop the puma things

  9. Kwame..bee says:

it does not look like a sportsman design.Too feminine.

  13. fred says:

@NONI, I would be more worried about Ethiopia beating your Nigerian team at home in 9JA!! YOur unpaid coach and technical bench are not happy!! Think of Nigeria first…its your country!!!

  14. JAY TEE says:

YEA, I HAD ALWAYS LOVE TO TALK ABOUT YOUR JERSEY WHCIH LOOK THE SAME AS THAT OF BURKINA FASO, IVORY COAST WHY, LOOK AT THE SAME PUMA GROUP WHO PROVIDE SAME KITS TO THE EUROPEAN THE LOOK DIFFERENT AND OF QUALITY, FOR ME EVEN THE BLACK STARS TEAM SHORTS ARE EVEN SO INFERIOR. THEY BETTER GIVE US SAME QUALITY AS THAT OF THE ELSE WHERE. GFA HAVE THE CHANGE THESE PUMA SPONSORED KITS.

    EVERYBODY SHUT UP NOW!!!!

What da hell did Ghana achieve on the worldstage the whole years we wore that shine shine yellow???? With calibres like Abedi Pele, TONY YEBOA we still achieved nothing
Ever since Ghana started wearing RED or WHITE ,Look at how IT HAS COMPLIMENTED our ability!
Not all teams wear their full National Colours. ACCEPT IT! Is red not in our flag anyway? Look here, almost HALF of the GOOD clubs in the world WEAR WHITE or RED! ASK YOURSELF WHY? RED or WHITE IS CLASSIC, BEAUTIFUL AND PSYCHOLOGICALLY UPLIFTING over OTHER TEAMS! when it comes down to that tiny motivation.
Read this Research and many more that proves that contestants wearing red really do win more and think about ThAT!

This is very cheap and crap. Why cant they use Yellow with Black design like what we use to have in the 90′s. Or if its white give it a bit of a twist with green, red and yellow. This is too simple and plain for my liking

  20. Ike says:

For sometime I thought NONI was dead bcos he promised doing so should Ghana win against Egypt. On the day Ghana won, he behaved as if he ate a humble pie and apologizing for that matter. On that day, I gave him a little respect which I have regretted bcos I can clearly see that NONI has a psychological (mental) problem. I’m saying this bcos he came back from the dead and made a 360 degrees turn back to the old NONI hating Ghanaians as ever. What hav we done to you, NONI? How shameless can u be?

Seems some of you Ghanaians don’t even know our national colours. It’s RED, GOLD (NOT yellow) and GREEN.

  29. tea spoon says:

Am wondering if there us white in our national flag.why cant we just wear our colours for once.with this group we found ourself in we need to wear a better jersey.for this one naaaaaaaa.

  30. Alex Ofori-Atta says:

The jersey does not give a real representation of ghana as a football country and our tradition. If the gfa and puma wants to infuse african prints to the already known jersey they should do it well. The jersey looks awful and its a shame. African prints and its colours speaks a symbolic voice and statement about our ghanaian tradition. The gfa can contact some professional designers in the country to design proper samples for the jersey. Lets critically look at the Brazil jersey and connect it to their tradition. A lot of examples talk of Barcelona, Manchester United, and the rest. Gfa and puma should do a best work.
