Ghana's Nations cup opponent Niger line up Senegal friendly

Posted On Friday, 2nd November 2012

Niger will play against Senegal on November 14

Ghana’s Nations cup opponent Niger have lined up a friendly against Senegal in Niamey on November 14 ahead of next year’s continental showpiece.

The Mena secured only their straight Nations Cup berth after they kicked out Guinea.

They will use the game as a dress rehearsal ahead of the Cup of Nations.

Ghana has been paired in group B where they will play against DR Congo, Mali and Niger in Port Elizabeth.

Fenifoot, the Niger Federation, are also studying a proposal to train in Tunisia, where several of their top star ply their  trade including skipper Moussa Maazou.

  3. Kenneth County says:

Bro. Bright you are right bar the abuse. One wonders why no friendly has been arranged for the Black Stars on Nov. 14 – a certified Fifa date for international friendlies. This is even more poignant given that the coach has been experimenting with players in previous games. We need to have a look at the players which the coach and his technical team think will be good enough at the tournament before – how good they are – before the final squad is announced. There is no other window of opportunity to test these players who are to represent Ghana, allow them to begin to gel, before camping begins in January 2 weeks before the tournament begins. Oh Mother Ghana! Is it complacency or what?

  4. ck says:

why niger nt ghana. Who is ghana playing nov 14. Infact, i’ll support niger against ghana.
