Mohammed Rabiu has impressive for the Black Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations
Ghana midfielder Mohammed Rabiu is determined to go all out in the semi-final game at the 2013 Nations Cup despite being on a yellow card.
The 23-year-old risks getting suspended for the Black Stars’ final game of the tournament if he picks up another yellow card.
He got booked in the hard fought 2-0 win against Cape Verde in the quarter-final last Saturday.
Rabiu has been one of the revelations of the tournament – putting in a total dedicated performance whenever selected.
He says he is not afraid to put in the necessary tackles to help Ghana qualify for the grand-finale even at his expense.
“I am not afraid because we have a lot of players in the team as well,” the Evian TG player told MTNFootball.com.
“We are 23 players – meaning everyone can play. So for me I am not thinking about my yellow card, I only want to help the team to win and qualify for the final.
“So I will be going into the next game with full confidence and ensure we make it to the final.”
