Coach Maxwell Konadu has returned from his trip abroad to run a final check on Ghana’s pre-World Cup camping sites.

The Black Stars assistant coach was dispatched by his boss Kwesi Appiah to visit the planned training locations in the Netherlands and the USA ahead of the team’s arrival later this month.

The Black Stars will travel to Rotterdam on May 25 to begin residential camping for their third successive appearance at the World Cup finals in Brazil.

The team will thereafter travel to the USA to finalize their preparations with another friendly before making their way to their Brazilian camp in Maceio.

Coach Konadu is expected to present a comprehensive report on his latest trip abroad which was to ensure facilities to be used by the Black Stars throughout their preparatory period is top notch.

Konadu’s report emanating from his trip forms part of the superior preparatory plans for the Black picked from the experiences gathered by coach Kwesi Appiah during the last World Cup campaign four years ago in South Africa.

Ghana aims at going at least one better than their quarter final finish in South Africa.

The Black Stars must however first get through a tough group which include Germany, Portugal and the USA.
