Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng have both been named in AC Milan’s 19-man squad for the Champions League game against Barcelona.

The two Ghanaians who have found their form in the second half of the season are expected to start against the Spanish giants in Wednesday’s clash at the San Siro.

Muntari played his full 90-minute game in last Friday’s 2-1 win over Parma and will be looking to put in another assured performance on Wednesday.

Boateng on the other hand has found his form after a slow start to the season.

The Rossoneri have not won against the Catalans in their past seven meetings and are also yet to win a home fixture in this season’s Champions League competition.

Milan will also be without striker Mario Balotelli (who is cup tied) who has been in free scoring mode since arriving from Manchester City in January.

The Italian giants will however be counting on their recent impressive domestic form – unbeaten in six games and up to third in Serie-A to keep them alive against the acclaimed best team in the world.

AC Milan squad against Barcelona:

Abbiati, Amelia, Gabriel, Abate, De Sciglio, Mexes, Yepes, Zapata, Ambrosini, Boateng, Constant, Cristante (N.36), Montolivo, Muntari, Traorè, Bojan, El Shaarawy, Niang, Pazzini.
