Ghanaian teen sensational Koby Arthur is hoping Cheltenham Town could come good again after leaving the English League Two side following his recall by Birmingham City.

The 18-year-old had to watch Cheltenham's 1-0 home reverse against Southend United on Tuesday night after being recalled by Birmingham City despite his loan deal expected to end in January.

The Southend United defeat was the second in succession for Cheltenham who had flourished under the influence of the Ghanaian attacking midfielder but he hopes they can survive in his absence.

"I've been recalled by Birmingham and I'm sure they will recover from the successive defeats and come good," Arthur told GHANAsoccernet.com exclusively.

Since arriving at Cheltenham before the start of the season, Arthur scored four goals in eight games, but has now returned to Blues.

A recall that has left Cheltenham manager Mark Yates reeling.
