Ghanaian youth international defender Isaac Donkor is impressed with the arrival of experienced center-back Nemanja Vidic at Inter Milan and is keen to learn from the Serbia star.

Inter Milan completed the capturing of the defender last week and he has already began pre-season with Walter Mazzarri's men at the Appiano Gentile.

Donkor, 18, is keen to gategrash the first team squad for a regular playing spot after making 5 bench first team appearances last season and Vidic's arrival from Manchester United is expected to limit his chances but younger sees other opportunities.

"I think its good that he has arrived and I'm going to learn a lot from him," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The enterprising youngster has already debuted in Europe for the Nerazzuris two seasons ago but last season saw him limited to Primavera action however he is hoping to remain in the Inter first team squad.

"I'm hoping to stay," he added.

Donkor, born in Kumasi, is one of the available foreign talents Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh could count on for his squad as he is eligible to play for Ghana.
