Ghanaian youngster Arago Jamal has cancelled his contract with Greek club Atromitos over unpaid wages, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 20-year-old leaves just under a year of joining the Greek top flight club from the youth side of Ghanaian club Berekum Chelsea.

Arago who emerged winner of the 2009 edition of the MTN Soccer Academy talent hunt reality show cancelled his three-year deal with Atromitos over unpaid wages.

The youngster is owed several months wages and has been neglected to foot the cost of an injury he sustained while in action for the Greek club.

FIFA rules permits players to unilaterally terminate their professional contracts with clubs once they are owed wages running into over three months.

The Ghanaian thus leaves as a free agent and will be eligible to sign for any club of his choice at absolutely no cost since no transfer fee will be paid in this transaction.
