Ghanaian youngster Thomas Agyiri has been handed the number 18 shirt at Portuguese club Gil Vicente.

The 18-year-old joined the Primera Liga side on loan just after signing a two-year professional contract with English champions Manchester City this summer.

The loan move is to ensure Agyiri sees regular first team action in line with a program to aid his development into a full blown professional.

He becomes the 11th Right to Dream Academy player to earn an European move in recent years – following the likes of Abdul Majeed Waris, Mohammed Abu and Razak Nuhu.

Agyiri was part of the Manchester City team that played at a Junior International Tournament in the UAE earlier this year.
