Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Edwin Gyasi could return to training next for FC Twente as he is gradually recovering from his knee injury.
The 21-year-old suffered the knee injury in early February while in action for Twente against PEC Zwolle.
Gyasi has already missed two games as he sat of the games against Willem II and Heerenveen.
The winger has been in the treatment room since suffering the injury but could join his team-mates at training next week.
“I’m yet to recover from the injury and return to training,” Gyasi exclusively told Ghanasoccernet.com.
Gyas has scored once in 11 Eredivisie games for Twente.
A poor string of results in the domestic league has forced the club to axe English manager Steve McClaren on Monday.
