Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu has rubbished reports claiming he has rejected a fresh contract from Feyenoord to sign for fellow Eredivisie side Cambuur SC.

Reports from the Netherlands suggested the 20-year-old had rejected a fresh contract offer from Feyenoord to sign for Cambuur to enable him enjoy more playing time.

But the powerful versatile forward has rejected the reports insisting it is absolute nonsense.

"Really pure nonsense. I just want to return again," he Soccer News.

GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm the forward's contract with Feyenoord runs out in June and has been offered a fresh deal by the giants.

But Soccerway have reported he has rejected Feyenoord's offer and agreed in principle to join Cambuur when the Summer Transfer Window opens.
