Ghanaian defender Shawn Oduro has been invited by Belgian giants Anderlecht for a two-week trial period.

The centre-back was scouted by Jan Streuer during a recent nationwide programme in October last year dubbed Ghana Football Scouting.

Streuer was the man who spotted Mali and former Real Madrid midfielder Mamadou Diarra, Ghana striker Matthew Amoah and youngster Shadrach Eghan who plays for FC Twente.

Oduro, who plays for Top-Ten Academy Football Club, becomes the second Ghanaian teenager to leave for the Belgian champions to be assessed by the club’s technical team.

He is being managed by a sports event, marketing and scouting agency Le Smart Business.
