Ghanaian youngster Koby Arthur is keen to gatecrash the Birmingham City first team squad but wants to do so gradually.

The 17-year-old has made just one league appearance for the Blues despite a promising pre-season.

Arthur, a former target for Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, has been relegated to the Birmingham City second string side.

"I have provided many assists and scored a lot of goals for the reserves but can't really get the chance. So I have to work even more harder to convince the coach because it is hard work that can make things," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Arthur has been tipped as one of the best young talents in English football and earlier in March 2013, he was linked with Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal but Birmingham failed to allow him join any of these clubs.
