Belgian club KV Mechelen will be without the services of Ghanaian striker Abdul Yakini-Iddi who is out injured for the next three months.

The 27-year-old has suffered a tear in the posterior cruciate ligament while in action in a league match against AA Gent two weeks ago.

The Ghanaian striker will however not require surgery to fix the problem.

The club’s medical team have decided to use an alternative rehabilitation method to heal the striker.

Iddi has already missed two games for Mechelen as they strive to beat the drop from the Belgian Pro League this season.
