Ghanaian striker Kwame Amponsah Karikari is expected to spend four weeks in the treatment room after undergoing an ankle surgery on Friday in Turkey.
The 22-year-old was operated by renowned Turkish surgeon Bulent Zeran in a complex medical operation that for lasted three-and-half hours to help speed up his rate of recovery.
He is expected to return to training after four weeks.
Karikari, who is on loan at Balikesirspor from Swedish side AIK Solna, has contributed 11 goals in 22 games to their promotion campaign.
