Ghanaian striker John Antwi says he is poised to retain his Goal King crown in the Egyptian Premier League.
The 22-year-oldââ¬â¢s 11 goals for Ismaily in the regular season was just enough to hand him the top scorerââ¬â¢s prize in last term in the Egyptian top flight.
Antwiââ¬â¢s hot form was truncated over Ismailyââ¬â¢s failure to reach the playoffs of the Egyptian season.
The ex Hearts of Oak hitman has already scored over one-third of his last season tally and is hoping his good start to the new season will see him finish top scorer once more again.
ââ¬ÅI am very happy with my form so far at the start of the league,â⬠he told Happy FM.
ââ¬ÅI have played all six games and thankfully I have scored four goals.
ââ¬ÅI hope to keep up my form so that I retain my Goal King award after this season.ââ¬
