Ghanaian striker Basit eyes promotion with Israeli side Hapoel Nazareth Illit

Ghanaian striker Abraham Basit is eyeing promotion with Israeli-second tier side Hapoel Nazareth Illit.
The 24-year-old has scored seven goals with nine assists this season for the Liga Leumit side.
The former King Faisal goal poacher is keen to play top level football in Israel next season.
“The season has been good so far but can get better,” Basit said
“We have few matches to end the season and anything can happen.
“It will be a great playing top-flight football next season.
“I’m really looking forward to that opportunity.”
Basit has played for several clubs in Israel including bnei Sakhnin, Hapoel Petah, Hapoel Sheva and Maccabi um el Fahm.
Hapoel Nazareth Illit lie second behind leaders Maccabi Petah Tikva.
