Spain-based Ghanaian youngster Thomas Teye Partey has revealed he takes inspiration from Ghana international Derek Boateng.

The 20-year-old is on loan at Spanish side Real Mallorca from Atletico Madrid where he has scored four goals in 29 appearances.

Partey hopes to become a key player for a top-tier side soon and says his career is on track receiving tips from the Fulham player.

“I personally like Yaya Toure, Sergio Busquet Stephen Gerrard, but with all these players I like Derrick Boateng, because he inspires me a lot,” Partey said.

“He is an intelligent player strong on the ball and exciting to watch.”
