Swedish-born Ghanaian international midfielder Robin Quaison has signed a new two-year contract extension that will keep him at Swedish giants AIK Stockholm till 2015.
The 19-year-old who was voted the Allsvenskan’s most exciting player for last season inked the new deal on Thursday.
AIK’s sports director Jens T Andersson expressed his delight after the deal was reached with Quaison’s personal advisor Hasan Cetinkaya.
“We are very pleased and proud to continue to develop Robins potential,” he said.
Quaison, dubbed the Scandinavia Xavi, says he is happy to continue growing at the 11-time Allsvenkan title winners.
“AIK is my club and for me it has never been any question of extending or not. Now we agree on the terms and I am proud to continue to be part of AIK’s bet,” says Robin Quaison.
Quaison has scored twice in 27 appearances for AIK since gaining promotion into the first team.
