Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie scored the goal which secured a 1-0 win over Atalanta in the Italian Serie A.

ENGLAND

In the English FA Cup, striker Kwesi Appiah came off the bench in the 65th minute to play for Crystal Palace who drew 0-0 with Stoke City.

Former Liverpool striker David Amoo played the entire second half for Preston North End as they lost 1-0 at Millwall.

Jeffrey Schulpp was an unused sub by Leicester City who hammered Burton Albion 2-0.

ITALY

Udinese hammered ten-man Inter Milan 3-0 on Sunday.

Youngster Alfred Duncan came off the bench in the 74th minute to play for Inter Milan.

Isaac Cofie scored the only goal of the game for Chievo Verona who beat Atalanta 1-0. He lasted the full 90 minutes.

Genoa posted a comfortable 2-0 win over Bologna. Former Inter Milan youth striker Said Ahmed Said watched the entire match from the bench.

Kevin-Prince Boateng set up the opening goal for AC Milan who sneaked past Siena 2-1. Sulley Muntari warmed the Milan bench.

Afriyie Acquah came off the bench in the 56th minute for Parma who beat Palermo 2-1.

SPAIN

Michael Essien played at right-back for ten-man Real Madrid who defeated Real Sociedad 4-3.

In the Segunda Division, goalkeeper Razak Brimah kept the post for Guadalajara who held Lugo to a 0-0 draw at their own backyard.

In the Segunda B, Thomas Teye Partey was key in midfield for Atletico Madrid II who comfortably edged Rayo Vallecano II at the Miniestadio Cerro del Espino.

Stephen Owusu-Ansah played full time for Rayo Vallecano II.

Nana Asare played full throttle for RSD Alcalá who held Getafe II to a 0-0 draw. Midfielder Paul Quaye played full throttle for Espanyol II who lost 1-0 to Orihuela.

FRANCE

Defender John Mensah marked his debut for Stade Rennes after playing 56 minutes in their 2-1 victory over Lens.

Winger Ishmael Yartey played full throttle for Sochaux and set up the only goal of the game for Sochaux as they beat Thaon 1-0.

PORTUGAL

Vitória Guimaraes held Gil Vicente to a pulsating 0-0 draw with defender David Addy playing full throttle and compatriot William Tiero coming off the bench for Gil Vicente bench to play 38 minutes.

CYPRUS

Yussif Rahman was an 87th minute substitute for Alki who drew1-1 APOEL.

Carlos Ohene was not in the Alki team.

GREECE

Winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie marked his return from injury by playing 85 minutes for Panathinaikos who lost 2-1 to Levadiakos.
