Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Telly Shaze aims at helping his new club Umea qualify from the Swedish third tier while improving himself.

The 23-year-old joined Umea on a one year deal from Ostersunds.

Shaze becomes the second Ghanaian to play for the side – following in the footsteps of the late Shamo Quaye.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate has set clear targets of helping the side win promotion while improving his personal form.

“I feel very happy for this chance. I have to go and prove myself as a player. Umea is a club with big ambitions,” Shaze told Goal.

“My ambition is to help them win the league. I want to go and do well for myself also.”
