Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu is thrilled to have scored his debut goal for Swedish side Mjällby FC in a pre-season win over Bolton Wanderers.

The former Kpando Heart of Lions midfielder, 19, won the match for Mjällby with a neat late second-half finish at the Scandinavian country and ensured the English giants slip into their first pre-season defeat.

Bolton had levelled the scoring after the Allsvenkan side had taken a 2-1 lead but Bonsu scored again to steal the win for his side.

The attacking midfielder controlled a ball from the left 18 yards out before bending an effort beyond Lonergan and into the far corner.

"Is one of my all-time best but I would have wanted to score such an important one in the Allsvenskan to help my club get three points out of the relegation zone," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Mjällby are under-performing in the Swedish top-flight as they are just above the danger zone and the Ghanaian is expected to use his talent to help them push up.
