Ghanaian midfielder Frimpong makes injury return for Arsenal

Emmanuel Frimpong back in training

By Ameenu Shardow

Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has returned to full scale training with Arsenal.

The 20-year-old returns after months of nursing a knee injury sustained last season while on loan at Wolves.

Frimpong’s return will certainly boost Arsenal as they need all the men they have to challenge for honours on all fronts.

The ex England youth international is yet to get clearance from FIFA to feature for the Ghana national team.

Fellow midfielder Jack Wilshere also returns to training after staying out for over a year with a stress fracture and a knee injury.

Good news to Arsenal and Ghana, bad news to Annan and Derek. I hope he plays more and talk less.

  2. real sabacious says:

spot on bro!the aged guys have to give way to the up and coming stars.I hope Akwasi Appiah will see the wisdom in inviting albert Adomah,Wakaso and Abeyie and stop the bribe and nepotism. Its quite annoying!that after years of assisting,he still haven’t figure out the problem with the team.ie left full back, creative wingers and a striker.Afful is not the player to solve solve the left full back problem,if this same Akwasi Appiah was in sweden and Norway to watch waris and nuhu whom to me are not black stars material for now.what prevents him from doing the same to the above mentioned players?wakaso brings alot to a team,he has a ball sense, strong and fearless in one on on situation both defending and attacking(eg is,his last week assist)the above mentioned players atleast deserves to be on the bench of the stars.clottey, inkoom, derek boateng and afful must pave way for more talented players-As for opare he’s just coming from injury and cant say much about him for now.Anyway where’s THE PRINCE OF coach OPELE?(prince of woes)

    • Randolph says:

I agree with with you on Wakaso and Abeyie, the duo are above many in Akwasi Appiah’s starting eleven.

Wakaso and Abeyie are both versatile players that can easily score goals or initial serious attacks to open tight defenses.

Akwasi Appiah is actually learning the trade, he would gradually get there. He just seems to have his favorite players which is unprofessional.

  3. Fbone says:

U guys must stop dis abeyie nonsense. Leave AA 2 do hs job. U guys kasa dodo aba

  4. Dr Who says:

We need steel reinforced defensive midfielders like Frimpong than ageing Derek who has zero defensive abilities. No wonder we lost to minnows like Zambia & Liberia when Derek started the game.

  5. real sabacious says:

@Fbone if someone is talking nonsense is you!i’m watching Abeyie playing for panathinakos in their europa league.some of us will not sit down for Akwasi Appiah to mess the stars up!derek boateng and inkoom were no where near dipro team but yet, this visionless coach will invite them in our next match leaving active and inform players out.i bet u! u will not talk that bullshit if u have getting the chance to watch wakaso, abeyie and albert adomah lately.these players atleast deserve to bench on the bench of the stars and not clottey, afful, inkoom and the likes.AA is our own, asuch we will not keep quite till things are out of hand.i insist! CLOTTEY,AFFUL AND WARIS are good but not better wakaso and abeyie.AA has to reason and use abeyie as a striker.

  6. Fransoa says:

YES ABEYIE NEEDS TO BE CALLED ON THE TEAM

  7. dadaba gonshots says:

    SACK KWESI APPIAH NOW!
