Ghanaian Ema Boateng highlighted his impressive pre-season form by snatching an equalising goal for Helsingborg IF in their 1-1 draw with Lyngby in an international club friendly on Saturday.

The 20-year-old netted on the 53rd minute mark to peck the scoring at the Olympia.

The Danish side had taken an early first-half lead through forward Hansen but the Ghanaian youngster raced through the area to receive a through pass from Alvaro Santos to slot home for an easy finish for his second goal of the pre-season.

Helsingborg have been rounding up their pre-season campaign before the start of the Allsvenskan next month.

Attacker David Accam was rested for the game and watched proceedings from the touchline.
