Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Kumordzi was on the score-sheet as Genk run riot in their 4-0 win over Lierse in the Belgian Pro League on Saturday.
The 28-year-old connected a pass from close range in the 34th minute for Genk’s second goal.
This was Kumordzi’s second goal for the club-in his second season-in eight appearances in the top-flight.
DR Congo defender Derick Tshimanga opened the scoring on 24 minutes and the third goal came in injury time of the first half courtesy Kalidou Koulibaly.
Siebe Schrijvers came off the bench to score the fourth goal in the 75th minute.
Genk are now fourth on the league table after 11 rounds of matches but their position can change after Sunday’s matches are played.
