Ghanaian midfielder Mumuni Abubakar has parted ways with South African side Mamelodi Sundowns, with the player joining Black Leopards for the remainder of the season.

The Ghanaian has been frustrated at Sundowns, following the club’s decision to not register him for the 2014/15 season.

The midfielder, who played for Leopards on loan from Sundowns last season, has made his move to the Limpopo outfit permanent on a one-year deal.

Abubakar confirmed to Soccer Laduma that he has terminated his contract with Sundowns.

Leopards confirmed on the club’s official website that the 20-year-old has been signed by Lidoda Duvha.

“Muni is one of our best players, he is a very disciplined player and we are very happy to now have him contracted directly with us,” commented public relations manager Barry Ramunenyiwa on the Leopards’ official website.
