Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak to sign Nigerian striker Blessing Ojoga
Professor Mintah is set to take over Hearts and recruit new players for the upcoming season

Blessing Sunday Ojoga, a striker of Nigerian side Abia Warriors FC, will be on his way to Ghana in the next few weeks for a two-month trial with Accra Hearts of Oak.

The former UNICEM Rovers striker told Sports Vanguard that the deal for him to join the Ghanaian team was brokered by his agent, Ted Hargaurd from Demark.

Blessing who had attended a similar trial before said that he is hopeful to make it this time around.

The Otukpo born left winger was sidelined by a serious injury but has since bounced back after one year before he was signed by the Abia Warriors.

He said, “I am very happy for the call-up and this time around with God on my side, I will make it. Accra Hearts of Oak is a great team and I will be very happy to play for such a great world class football club.”

Hearts are embarking on a massive restructuring exercise with some players set to be axed by in-coming coach Professor Mintah.

The Phobians will also make a big foray into the market to sign players to augment their squad with some players expected to some from foreign clubs.
