Ghana defender Francis Dickoh suffered one of the 'most brutal attacks' in Danish football when an opponent hit back at him in a retaliatory move over the weekend.

The attack by SønderjyskE striker Marvin Pourie on the Midtjylland defender Francis Dickoh has been described by some Denmark newspapers as one of the most brutal attacks in the history of the league in the country.

Pourie, the SønderjyskE forward was hit in the face by Midtjylland defender Francis Dickoh in a challenge.

Pourie retaliated with a brutal attack and the referee let him off lightly with just a yellow card which has led to criticism.
