Norwegian Tippeligaen Odd Grenland have confirmed their interest in Ghanaian midfielder Reuben Ayarna.

The 27-year-old is a free agent after seeing out his four-year-contract with relegated Swedish Allsvenskan side GAIS.

Ayarna has already passed medicals for the Oddranes and is waiting for his contract details.

“He was here to take the medical test and it went well,” Grenland manager Fagermo confirmed.

Odd Grenland boss Dag-Eilev Fagermo has been a long-standing admirer of the versatile midfielder and wants to recruit him to join former Ghana U17 captain Paul Addo who has settled in Skien.

“We’ve been following him for a long time, and have of course seen many matches he has played. Reuben Ayarna is a player I would like to bring to the Odd,” confirms Fagermo.

He scored once in 29 appearances for GAIS in the Swedish top flight last season.
