German-born would-be Ghanaian attacker Karim Bellarabi trained on his own on Wednesday morning at the Eintracht Braunschweig B-Site in their morning training session.

The 23-year-old Bayer Leverkusen loanee was among four players (Boland, Kratz and Oehrl) who trained individually after showing signs of recovery from various degrees of injuries.

Bellarabi was forced off the pitch in the 20th minute of their 4-1 at Augsburg on Saturday and there were concerns he could not return in time for their weekend game against Hoffenheim.

Despite Braunschweig's poor form in the German top-flight, Bellarabi has distinguished himself with two goals and three assists in 13 games.

Bellarabi was born to a German mother and a Ghanaian father and the Ghana Football Association has expressed it's desire to lure him to represent Ghana at senior level though the player has stated he feels more German.
