Ghanaian dancer and singer Sherifa has been selected as one of the top artists set to illuminate the upcoming edition of the Glo/CAF Awards.
The event which is slated for January 9, 2014 will feature prominent artists like Lagbaja who is expected to entertain the crowd with his Afro-Calypso genre of music.
Identical twin Afro-pop stars P-Square are also expected to thrill the crowd marvellous blend of R&B, Hip Hop and Dancehall songs.
D’banj the ‘Koko Master’ and Flavour of the ‘Nwa Baby’ fame are also expected to hold the crowd spell bound.
Other musicians from across the continent who are billed to perform at the event include Glo Ambassador in Benin Republic, Zeynab who, as usual will thrill the audience with her unique style.
South African singer, Lira who set the benchmark with her 2006 album, Feel Good – and with her late 2008 release, Soul in Mind will also thrill the audience.
Eike von Stuckenbrok and Remi Martin, who together make up the pole dancers, are expected to treat the crowd to a buffet of acrobatic blitz, while the Tenors – the singing waiters from South Africa, who are revered for their spontaneity and sophistication are billed to further enliven the event.
Humour will be provided by fast rising Ugandan comedian Patrick ‘Salvado’ Idringi, who is expected to keep the crowd entertained in an event that promises to be truly exciting.
