A last-gasp strike from Ghanaian striker Patrick Amoah handed a shock win to newly-promoted OH Leuven over giants Anderlecht in the opening weekend of the Belgian Jupiler League opener.

Amoah, 24, a second half substitute hit a fine strike in the 93rd minute to seal victory for Leuven in the 2-1 win.

Chelsea pursuit Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring for Anderlecht but F.D.J. Samuel gifted Leuven the leveller on the 53rd minute by scoring an own-goal.

Just when the game appeared to be heading to a draw, Amoah connected home a fine effort for the points.

He holds a Swedish passport but he is yet to be play for the Scandinavian country at any level.
