Ex-Ghana U20 star Ebenezer Assifuah has resumed training this week after recovering from a calf problem and could be fit to face Luzern in the Swiss Super League on Sunday.

The 20-year-old had been sidelined with the injury with the injury since mid-February after suffering the damage during training.

Assifuah missed the 3-1 reverse at Thun and watched the sumptuous 3-0 thrashing of Young Boys from the stands last week.

Sion manager Raimonde Ponte might not want to risk him by starting him in the game against Luzern but would however start him from the bench. Assifuah, who joined Sion from Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals, has netted three league goals in 11 appearances so far this season.
