The 20-year-old sealed a four-year deal with the side on Monday after passing a medical in a co-ownership deal with Genoa.

Cofie enjoyed a terrific season on loan at Sassuolo last term where he played 36 times and scored a goal.

“I am very happy and I promise to work hard and get regular playing time,” Cofie said

“I am very optimistic the experienced I have garnered over the years will help me excel at the club.

“I don’t like talking because I want the pitch to do the talking for me.”

Cofie helped Ghana’s Under-23 secure qualification to the 2011 All Africa Games.
