Ghana youth midfielder Yussif Raman Chibsah got on the score-sheet for Sassuolo who thumped Varese 4-0 in the Italian Serie B on Sunday.
The 19-year-old who returned to the Stadio Alberto Braglia on loan from Parma registered the third goal for the Serie B leaders in the 83rd minute.
Chibsah rifled a low drive from the edge of the area after Varese failed to deal with a goal-mouth scramble.
Chibsah, owned by Juventus and Parma, is at Sassuolo on a season-long loan deal.
Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom lasted 86 minutes of the game for Sassuolo.
I WATCHED THIS GAME. BOAKYE YIADOM is a very good player. He has good ball control and He is great on airballs. He hit the post and was unlucky not to have scored.
Boakye exhibited his arial ball supremacy when he headed the equalizer for Ghana against China. That is why he has to be the fourth striker to AFCON 2013 together with Gyan,Clottey & Waris
My good friend Frimpong, with all due respect Chibsah’s goal wasn’t a low drive as reported.i personally watched proceedings bcos of Boakye yiadom.Chibsah’s goal was a long drive short from 25 or so yards.he had a good game and lasted the entire minutes.Yiadom had a good game in the first 45mins but was just a passenger in the second half, cos varese dominant the second half till they conceded the 3rd goal.he was subed in the 85mins.
