Ebenezer Assifuah scored twice for FC Sion

Ghana youth international striker Ebenezer Assifuah signed off his Swiss Super League season with a brace for FC Sion who thrashed Grasshoppers 3-1 on the final day of the season.

The 20-year-old raced Sion into the lead as early as the 2nd minute before cushioning it 20 minutes later.

Frank Feltscher halved the scoring in the 33rd minute for the visitors but Daniel Follonier scored in the 71st minute to put the tie to rest at the Stade de Tourbillon.

The former Liberty Professionals and Ghana U20 attacker maintained his starting berth in attack and proved his worth scoring twice to record his 7th goal of the season.

Compatriot Ishmael Yartey was unused as he warmed the Sion bench in the entire duration.
