Ghana youth midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan marked his debut for Serie B side Livorno after coming off the bench in their nil-nil draw at Padova on Saturday.

The 19-year-old is on loan with the Amarantos from giants Inter Milan for the remainder of the season.

After holding just four training sessions with them, Livorno boss Davide Nicola decided to hand him his Serie B debut as he came off the bench in the last ten minutes to replace German international Giuseppe Gemiti at the Stadio Comunale Euganeo.

Duncan with his towering physical presence and incredible ability to retain possession anchor the visitors’ midfield as they finished the game with a point.

“I’m happy about my debut and it was a good game for me. Hopefully there will be more action time next weekend,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

The draw keeps Livorno in second place with 48 points from 23 games.
