Acosty has returned to training for Juve Stabia
Ghana youth attacker Maxwell Boadu Acosty has returned to training for Italian Serie B side Juve Stabia after recovering from surgery.
The 21-year-old Fiorentina loanee went under the knife in December after sustaining a foot injury while playing in Stabia’s 3-1 win over Crotone.
His return is a welcoming news for Stabia manager Piero Braglia who has been using the former Ghana U20 winger in a key attacking role.
Acosty joined his Stabia team-mates at training last week by runing on the sidelines.
“I have recovered after the surgery. I started running last week and will continue the rehab before joining my team-mates for full scale training,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.
Acosty has scored once and set up eight goals in 17 appearances for Stabia this season.
we thank God for his injury return……. Paddy power dem alll….
He is not a Winger. He is a real center foward- a solid 9 with pace, Physique & power. I don’t knw why the Juve Stabia coach uses him on the wings. He was a real hit in the primaviera last season for fiorentina wit 17 goals in 15 matches. He hardly misses.
@D light Acosty is a winger not a number 9 stricker…… Please ask and you will know…
MIGUEL VELOSO IS RIGHT.WELCOME BACK MY MAN,COME N DO WHAT U DO BEST.
He is a winger not center forward
@ Veloso, please check his profile… U can google/wikipeadia. He is not a midfielder or the winger u are claiming. He is a real CF. This is the position that shot him to prominence at fiorentina. I watched him a couple of times at fiorentina and he operated tru the Center.
He will represent ghana at de next AFCON 2015 keep de fire burning
