Assistant coach Maxwell Konadu says the Black Stars are yet to play their best game at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana has drawn and won one after two rounds of matches in the tournament being staged in South Africa.
The Black Stars currently top Group B with four points and are in pole position to retain the lead ahead of the final group game against Niger on Monday.
But Konadu who sat in for head coach Akwasi Appiah for Friday’s press conference at the team’s hotel in Summerstrand says the best is yet to come out the Black Stars team at the AFCON.
“I don’t think we have played our best game yet, we think the boys can still improve,” he said.
“There is more room for improvement, what we have seen so far is good but it is not the best from us.
“So we just hope that we get the best out of the boys as time goes on.”
The Black Stars will hopefully come into their own against Niger on Monday to cement their reputation as one of the favourites to win the competition.
Ghana is looking to win their first African title in 31-years this term in South Africa.
