Ghana World Cup qualification opponent Sudan miss out of 2013 AFCON

Posted On Monday, 15th October 2012

Sudan failed to reach the 2013 AFCON finals

Ghana’s 2014 World Cup qualification opponents Sudan failed to reach the 2013 Nations Cup after being eliminated by Ethiopia on Sunday.

Alula Girma and Saladin Seid scored within three minutes during the second half in Addis Ababa to earn Ethiopia a 2-0 victory over Sudan and a ticket to South Africa next January on away goals after a 5-5 aggregate deadlock.

Sudan are in Group D with the Black Stars together with Zambia and Lesotho.

They lost boardroom points to Zambia after Fifa ruled they fielded an unqualified player in their 2-0 victory over the Southern Africans in June.

ANYWAY NEXT YEAR AFCON IS GOING TO BE HOT, IT’S GOING TO CATCH FIRE SINCE MOST OF THE BIG GUNS ARE BACK! GHANA, NIGERIA, CIV, SOUTH AFRICA, MOROCCO, TUNISIA, ALGERIA, ZAMBIA… wait did I say Zambia, no take them out, they are yet to prove themselves

    • TROKOSI says:

Zambia has nothing to prove to Ghana. We have a better head to head record. We made you kiss the dust at AFCON 2012 hahahahaha! We have the cup so the onus is on you to prove yourselves and win the 2013 AFCON simple.

    • TROKOSI says:

Oh I forgot and also beat Zambia

      • Randy says:

Yes you are right. This is the same team that beat the so-called African Champions.
Zambia will struggle in South Africa, they almost missed out.
They should be happy if they qualify from their group, and they should pray not cross the path of Ghana or CIV.

    • TROKOSI says:

Many people shared your attitude at AFCON 2012. Nobody gave Zambia a chance not until they saw us lift the cup.The hatred and jealously did not end there and now there are sentiments that we won by luck, etc, etc. Actually that works to our advantage when people write us off. We shall see!!!

      • Randy says:

Please, don’t talk about jealousy and hatred because Zambia has not done anything spectacular in Africa football. Your mouth is bigger than your achievements.
You have only three months to enjoy your championship victory till AFCON 2013. Insulting Ghana will end in South Africa. Uganda almost send you back 50 years ago when Zambia was the whipping boys. YOUR TIME IS UP.

        • TROKOSI says:

Whipping boys and who was doing the whipping? Ghana? check your facts and history of Zambian soccer my friend! Your hatred will kill you. Football is not played by names anymore sorry! It is played on the pitch 90 minutes and extra if need arises

        • NEZA says:

How old are u? Zambia as never being whipping boys these are facts 1996 sa africa cup Zam 1 ghana 0 and in 1994 zambia where in the final and we were nt bitter with nigeria ask any nigerian infact ghna can nt bet zambia

    • Ghana Slaughters says:

My appeal to CAF is that they should organise an AFCON in 2014 for Zambia and Ghana only. We play the 4 group stage games then the Qtr final, Semi final and Final so that we see who is a man. Am sure no Ghanian will like this idea coz, since Feb, they have been tormented by Zambia. Here we come again. Watch us nicely.

    • malawian says:

what more proof do u ghanians want from Zambia??? for now give them respect!!! they r the kings of Africa.

  2. TROKOSI says:

This story has nothing to do with Zambia but because of the hatred and grudge Ghanaians have towards us somehow they had to find a way of mentioning Zambia. Even the comments have started with mocking of Zambia. Keep on hating and we will keep on winning!

  3. swag says:

    Why the hate on Zambia?
    They are still the champ!!!

  4. THE PAPA says:

Hahahaaa, Trok pusher, why must we jealous Zambia? For what reason? hahahaaa. You are always infiltrating our sites trying to find out what we are up too. There is even news in the Global media that CAF aided your qualification and you are saying we jealous you. Look boy, respect is earn , not commanded. If you want respect for your nation with regards to sports, then earn it like Ghana did

We don’t regard you as powerhouse and that is the main reason why we don’t come to your sites. This is because Zambia is not a threat. As i always say, Zambia can never be our rival

    • Ghana Slaughters says:

Broken English (Pidgin). Go back to school or come to Zambia and learn better English.

    • TROKOSI says:

Lol then why does your site make reference to Zambia all the time even when the story does not concern Zambia. For instance the heading of this article is about Sudan not qualifying for the 2013 AFCON but why mention awarding of the 3 points to Zambia? Just shows how vindictive you are. You people are full of hatred. The moment you stop mentioning Zambia is the moment we will stop coming to this site.

      • Randy says:

Don’t worry my friend, everything will end in three months time. Please, enjoy while you can because Zambia’s luck has come to an end. Renard’s white juju shirt cannot save you in South Africa.

You see how you have struggled before you qualified?
Sudan beat you, Korea beat you, Malawi beat you and Uganda beat you, you won only through luck PK.

  5. A concerned citizen says:

Ghana’s world cup qualifier opponent Sudan what is wrong with you ? Anyway FIFA should have punished Suadan alone but not Ghana. How come FIFA punished Sudan and to punish Ghana too even though Ghana was innocent. The boardroom three points awarded to Zambia should have been just one point and to allow Zambians to fight for themselves. But Kaslusha who is now the FIFA agent/Sports minister for Zambia used his influence to bulldoze his way through. I would like to encourage Ghana to remain focused to win all the remaining matches including Zambia to qualify.

    • Ghana Slaughters says:

Who are you to change the FIFA rules in one day. Go to hang. Even you can be awarded 3 free points if you are wronged. You are in trouble. Hating us will only make God ensure we excel.

  6. ss says:
