The Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi says the womens U-17 team will be appropriately rewarded for qualifying the nation to the 2012 World Cup.
The Black Maidens thrashed the South African counterparts 5-1 on Friday to book the first of three African slots for the World Cup to be hosted in Azerbaijan.
And Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi says a package has already been agreed upon to reward the team for making it to the mundial for an unprecedented third successive time.
“I would like to take the opportunity to thank the girls for qualifying for their third successive World Cup, it is no mean achievement,” he said.
“They have done extremely well and deserve to be appropriately rewarded and I can tell you a bonus package has already been agreed upon to thank them for their efforts.”
The Maidens will be looking to do even better this time around on the World stage after their first round elimination in the last World Cup in New Zealand 2008.
You and your bunch of ineffective leadership better do oooo. Your lapses has made it possible for Plavi who has never earned more than 5000 dollars in life before coaching the Black stars to claim close to one million dollars from mother Ghana. Give the money, that money to this brave yaa asantewaas and let them enjoy it.
Looks like the coaches will be collecting all of bonuses from the players! For the sake of the players the GFA should actually pay the wages of the coaches to ensure the coaches aren’t forced to feed their families by forcing the girls to give up their winning bonuses!
CONGRATULATION TO THE U17 WOMAN TEAM THEY SHOULD KEEP IT UP.
