Exciting Ghana winger Solomon Asante believes Thursday last hour cameo for the Black Stars' their hard-fought win over Mali is just a tip of his iceberg.

The TP Mazembe new acquisition, 22, came off the bench on the 84th minute mark to replace Bristol City wing-man Albert Adomah and hugely impressed.

Asante was handed his tournament debut and proved unstoppable on the right wings for the Malian defence men with his electrifying pace and trickery.

He nearly made immediate impact as he came close to scoring Ghana's second in the 86th minute with a powerful low drive from 25 yards out.

The former Fetteh Feyenoord Academy graduate says he has more in stock for Ghana's campaign in South Africa.

"I'm just hoping to get more playing time as the tournament rolls on and I will advertise my real qualities to the whole world but Ghana first," he said.

"We try to work together as a team first and then we can look at other things.

Asante believes the Black Stars will gain a smooth passage to the quarter-finals with a win over minnows Niger.

"What is on our mind now is qualification and we are approaching the Nigeriennes clash with all seriousness because we cannot afford to give the fans anything less than qualification to the quarter-finals.
