Ghana winger Mpong snubs Turkish side Adana Demirspor

Richard Mpong

Ghana winger Richard Mpong has refused to sign for promoted Turkish Super Lig side Adana Demirspor, MTNFootball can exclusively reveal.

The diminutive player despite impressing officials of the Adana-based side rejected penning a two-year deal.

He insisted on an English version of his contract but the club failed to provide it so he walked out on the club and headed straight to the airport.

Mpong is expected in Ghana on Tuesday night to rejoin his Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC.

The 22-year-old impressed on his Ghana debut in February this year when he scored as a second half substitute in the 1-1 draw with Chile.

Adana Demirspor defeated Fethiyespor 2-1 in the Turkish Super Lig 2 to qualify to the elite division for the first time since 2005.
