Ghana winger Solomon Asante wowed fans at the Kamalondo Stadium as he marked his TP Mazembe debut
Black Stars winger Solomon Asante was the toast of Mazembe fans with his magnificent display in a 4-0 friendly win over FC Corbeaux.
Mazembe coach Lamine N’daye handed the 22-year-old his debut at the Kamalondo and he thrilled the home crowd with his electrifying and delightful moves on the right flanks.
One of his marauding runs on the 78th minute mark set up Alou Bakayoko for Mazembe’s third goal.
Whilst exciting fans, Asante’s compatriots Daniel Nii Adjei (architect of the second goal), Gladson Awako and Richard Kissi Boateng all featured in the game.
Asante expressed satisfaction about his show.
“It feels really good to get back to the field again. I really liked the vibe and the cheers from the fans because it urged us on. It makes you wanting to run unstop,” he said.
