Ghana winger Albert Adoma is the leading top scorer at Middlesbrough with 9 goals this season.

The Ghanaian international has been in devastating form since he joined from Bristol City last summer.

The 26-year-old has emerged as one of the finest element in the Boro squad as he has netted nine times to lead the side’s scorers’ chart.

Adoma, capped twelve times at the international level, has been called up for next week’s international friendly against Montenegro.

He will look to extend his lead when Boro visit Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

Those who are calling for this boy’s exclusion from the starsdont know or realy understand the tactical aspect of the game.
Adomah might not be a ball joggler or schemer but that dude is tactically desciplined.
In a team u need different type of players who can adapt to different type of roles n Adomah has got it.
He can play as a winger as well as a striker because his goal scoring ratio is very awesome.
If u guys look at the national team, currently ghana posses skilful players in the persons of kwadwo asamoah, ayew brothers, muntari, christian atsu and mubarak wakaso so looking at all the mentioned names u need something different to the team.
Adomah is a natural winger n his crosses are damn good.
Besides that he can also run forward n back to assist the defence.
First when i saw adomah’s style of i didnt realy like his style of play but i took a close look at him and realised that he is a big blessing to any coach who realy understand the tactics of football.
    Adomah for mundial

    • cofie says:

      agree with you my brother

    • Phobia4life says:

Very true. His work rate is similar to Valencia of Manchester United and Milner of City. He does the dirty work, provides good crosses and can score too. People are talking about QOA but I think that this guy will bring balance to the team considering that we have a lot of ball handlers.

    • GHFUO, be serious & change ur MENtality says:

its very frustrating watching adomah play as a winger for gh. no flair kraa. we all saw how he played at afcon13….up n down nkoaa n crosses. get the ball into the 18, shoot at net…add some flair. all adoma does is run gidigidi with the ball…

  2. Politicsuk says:

Natural winger! Fast and agile. We need a player like him to shut down ronaldo on the wing! He can cross well.

  3. Kumasiboy says:

A few of the players who are picked for their hard work. Massa stay humble and work hard. God will take you brazil

  4. dr edusei. chicago says:

he is like a bigger wilcott. fast and powerful and discipline win matches. i like that guy.

  5. real sabacious says:

He has been impressive for his club but he’s yet to put in a decent performance for the stars. I hope he prove some of us wrong this time around.

  6. keith from germany says:

Bro real sabacious without disrespecting u and your opinion,i on my part think adomah has realy performed well for the stars according to the talent he has.
He scored against egypt in the friendly game before the afcon and also assisted gyan in the final group game at the afcon against the Republic of niger.
In all the games he played he realy helped the defence especially in the games against mali and cape verde island.
Without adomah’s help john pantsil would have been exposed.
Adomah does alot of things only tactical freaks can notice that.
In a game against portugal i will start adomah because his runs back to help the defence and that will be a big plus against portugal.
In a game like the usa game i wont start him because the usa game will be games for atsu.
Well real sabacious thats my opinion n i respect yours eventhough i dont agree with you

  7. Abu says:

Young boy carry on scoring. Go brazil and score 2

  8. ZG GH4LIFE says:

Am always happy when he gets the ball because he tries all his best to get to the corner and cross the ball, he crosses real good too so its always a win win situation, we need his speed at the WORLD CUP.

  9. sticky straw says:

Fools who are campaigning for Maame adoma and shortingo Samuel nkum shame u people who want this this player who doesn’t know what to do with the ball . is adoma a good player?inkoom too has lost his form drastically . I will rather choose yaya Muhammed and godfred sakka because yahya Muhammed is stronger and utility player

  10. 21guns says:

I don’t think this guy is good we I have watch him in some of our African cup games and friendly games he was not impressive in my idea.
He losses possession so easily and his passes are not accurate.
I hope this time he fixes that…

  11. 21guns says:

@sticky straw I agrees with you the guy is not good, I don’t really know where this cheap hype and campaigning is coming from.

But please my brother let do away with insult.everyone is entitled to his or her opinion

  12. mills says:

Keith are u a coach?u knw alot abt da game.we need pple like u here to educate us not pple who knw nothing abt da game n they come here to insult.God bless u.

  13. Rasta says:

@stickystraw go back to sleep. Kwassie . You do not know football. The players you have mentioned are not better than this player. Let the coach do thier job. All you do is open your mouth and talk. No sense. Foolish boy from the village

  14. Patrick owusu says:

@stickystraw come on. Foolish guy. Yaya who? You know nothing about football. Let the coach be the coach. You stupid village boy. Read my friend. This coach is good coach. I like the way he has freedom to experiment and choose his own players. We did good the first tournament he took us to.

  15. keith from germany says:

Thanks bro mills i appreciate ur kind gesture.
Im just a tactical freak and two of my friends here in germany are coaches so we use to talk alot about the tactical aspect of a game.
We go deep inside the game n my conversion with them has realy opened my eyes.
Football aint only about scoring and attacking but rather bringing up the right tactics to outwit your opponents.

  16. nhyira says:

where is Abeyie ooooooooooooohh Abeyie, can we compare Adomah to Abeyie? the fact is clear

  17. Nana says:

Hey Nhyira, Abeyie has the speed like Adoma and he dribble but sorry to say he doesn’t follow up when he loose a ball and doesn’t fall back to defend either but Adoma n Jordan are all the same

  18. kk says:

@ nhyira, which team is Abeyie playing now,we don’t need pple like u here, make some research b4 u come out.Holy Ghost Fire burn u.leave da coach to do his job.

  19. Kwabena says:

Abeyie is one of the most skillful Ghanaian players at the moment. Remember what he did to Cote d’Ivoire. Please Kwesi Appiah, add him to the squad if youneed greater success.

  20. sticky straw says:

Its cristal clear that if akwasi appiah select Samuel inkoom and Maame adoma into squad then there is clear nepotism and bribery

  21. sticky straw says:

Dr adu SEI and Rasta why why are u a fool ? Or u smoke marijuana the same goes to Keit Germany who clean toilet on daily basis tactical My toilets

  22. sticky straw says:

Ffools to those who opposes doctor sticky straw opinion
