Ghana winger Frank Acheampong is not discouraged by Anderlechtââ¬â¢s early exit from this seasonââ¬â¢s UEFA Champions League.
The Belgian giants crashed out of the competition after finishing last in Group C alongside PSG, Olympiakos Piraeus and Benfica.
Anderlecht failed to record even a single win throughout the six games played in the group phase to record one of their worst performance in Europe.
But the 20-year-old Pokies is not bogged down by his clubââ¬â¢s failure as he believes it will serve a good lesson in getting better next season.
ââ¬ÅI am all that disappointed,â⬠he told Metro FM.
ââ¬ÅThis is the Champions League â⬓ meaning it is the next level.
ââ¬ÅSo even though we are sad that we are out we will learn from this experience so that next season we make a more meaningful impact.ââ¬
Acheampong joined Anderlecht earlier this year after excelling at Thai giants Buriram United.
