Highly-rated Petrojet defender Peter Oduro Kwarteng believes Ghana must not concede against Mozambique ahead of the 2015 All Africa Games qualifier on Saturday.

The strong centre-back is among 16 players that have travelled to Maputo for the first leg tie.

Coach Malik Jabir is leaving no stone unturned his quest to ensure qualification to the All Africa Games which takes place in Congo Brazaville.

And the Ghanaian defender is eyeing a clean slate against the Os Mambas.

“It’s going to be a tough clash but we want to qualify,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“We cannot afford to concede because this a two-legged tie. The first leg is the most important fixture.

“We have to keep our heads high and return with the scores in our favour.”

Ghana qualified to this stage after beating Uganda 4-1 on penalties after the two legs ended goalless.
