Ghana’s U20 Women’s team have returned from Malabo following their 1-0 defeat to Equatorial Guinea in the World Cup qualifier.

The Black Princesses team touched down at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday afternoon after their first leg defeat in Malabo.

Coach Bashir Hayford’s failed to recover from a 37th minute strike by Equatorial Guinea captain Cristelle.

The slim defeat however puts the Ghana team at a slight advantage with the second leg due in Accra in a fortnight.

The Black Princesses are chasing a third straight qualification to the World Cup following their debut appearance in 2008.
