Ghana U20 will take on Italian Serie B side Novara in a friendly on Monday afternoon in Italy as the Black Satellites prepare for this month’s African Youth Championship.
U20 World Cup winning coach Sellas Tetteh prepares for another crack at the competition with the match expected to test his side for their preparedness for the tournament in Algeria.
The game at 15:00 GMT will be the Black Satellites’ first since arriving in Italy last Thursday and it comes after five important training sessions.
The test game against the Italian Serie B side, who have two Ghana internationals; Mohammed Alhassan and Ahmed Barruso in their set-up is the first European test match lined up as Sellas runs the rule on his squad.
Sellas Tetteh will lead Ghana to the finals in Algeria this month.
He guided the Black Satellites to the 2009 African Youth Championship title.
